2024-25 School Year
Kibler Cares awards two scholarships annually, in the amount of $2,000 each, to graduating seniors who plan to pursue a career in the health care industry. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide assistance for someone who plans to attend a 2-year or 4-year institution that will prepare them to provide health care on any part of the medical spectrum (from nursing assistant to physician). Should the applicant have already completed training through current vocational programs, the scholarship may also be used to help provide required supplies such as uniforms, stethoscopes, etc. that may be necessary for someone entering the work force directly upon graduation. To honor the close ties which Marge had with Mesa, Arizona and Dinwiddie, VA, currently one recipient is selected from a high school in each area (Chaparral High School and Dinwiddie County High School). Nominations and selections are conducted by the respective schools. Applications can be obtained from each school's counseling office.
